Purpose & Acceptance

These terms govern access to the Site, its consultation and the use of its forms, private spaces, content and features. By accessing the Site or submitting information through it, the user acknowledges having read these terms.

If the user acts on behalf of a company, property owner, agency, family office or any other organisation, they declare having the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

Nature of the Site & Absence of Automatic Reservation

The Site is a showcase, presentation channel and matching tool. Search results, property selections, price ranges, availability and experiences displayed are indicative and do not constitute a firm offer, reservation or commitment to let, sell or provide a service.

No rental, concierge, events, property search or service contract is formed through the sole use of the Site. A commitment arises only after written confirmation by LEGATHERIST and acceptance of the applicable contract, quote or booking confirmation.

Services Presented

The Site presents seasonal rentals, concierge services, experiences, private events, owner services, professional partnerships and property introduction services. The description of a service on the Site does not guarantee its availability in any given destination.

Regulated services — including certain real estate, tourism, nautical, transport, security or health services — are carried out or supervised by professionals holding the required local authorisations.

Le Gatherist's Role in Real Estate Projects

For acquisition or sale projects, LEGATHERIST acts as a business introducer, coordinator and facilitator of connections. Regulated acts of brokerage, negotiation, sales mandate, receipt of acquisition deposits, legal, tax or notarial advice, and transaction completion are performed by locally authorised professionals.

No information published on the Site constitutes a valuation, technical report, or investment, legal or tax advice. Users must conduct their own due diligence with their advisers.

Property Information

Descriptions, photographs, floor areas, capacities, equipment, views, distances, prices and availability may originate from owners or partners. LEGATHERIST takes reasonable care in their presentation, but this information remains subject to change, error or withdrawal.

Exact addresses, confidential documents and off-market information may be shared only after qualification of the applicant and, where necessary, signature of a non-disclosure agreement.

Third-Party Providers & Services

Certain services are provided by independent third parties — such as owners, agencies, chefs, drivers, cleaning companies, nautical operators, activity organisers or payment providers. These may be subject to their own terms, availability, insurance, safety rules and cancellation policies.

LEGATHERIST's liability in relation to a paid service is determined by the specific applicable contract and not solely by the presentation of the service on the Site.

Forms & Accuracy of Information

Users undertake to provide accurate, current and complete information and to submit only data they are authorised to share. They must not send identity documents, banking data, medical information or other sensitive data via a general form unless expressly requested by LEGATHERIST through a secure channel.

LEGATHERIST may request additional information or supporting documents, decline an incomplete or irregular request, and take reasonable verification measures.

Content Provided by Users & Owners

By submitting texts, photographs, videos, plans, links, availability or property information, the sender warrants holding the necessary rights and authorisations. They authorise LEGATHERIST to review, adapt, translate and share these materials with its teams and partners solely for the purpose of evaluating the enquiry and preparing a potential collaboration.

Any public publication or substantial marketing campaign concerning a property will be subject to a separate agreement or contractual framework with its owner or authorised representative.

Prohibited Uses

It is prohibited to undermine the security of the Site, introduce malware, mass-extract content, circumvent access restrictions, use data to build a competing database, post false enquiries or impersonate a third party.

Automated use, scraping, reproduction of listings, direct solicitation of owners or partners identified by LEGATHERIST, and any attempt to bypass commercial arrangements are prohibited without written authorisation.

Intellectual Property

The Site, its structure, brand, texts, curations, photographs, videos, graphics, databases and software elements are protected. Unless expressly authorised in writing, only personal, non-commercial consultation is permitted.

Trademarks, content and photographs belonging to owners or partners remain the property of their respective holders and are used with their authorisation or in connection with the presentation of their services.

Electronic Communications & Newsletter

Users accept that exchanges related to their enquiry may be conducted by email, phone, messaging or private space. Marketing communications are sent on the basis of consent or another lawful basis permitted by applicable law and include a straightforward means of unsubscribing.

Withdrawal of marketing consent does not prevent the sending of communications necessary for processing an enquiry or performing a contract.

Private Spaces & Payment Links

The Site provides access to authenticated private spaces for clients and agents (accessible via /client/login and /agent/login). When a private space, confidential link or payment link is shared, it is personal and must not be forwarded. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and must report any unauthorised use without delay.

A payment made via a private link remains subject to the corresponding quote, contract or booking confirmation. The Site does not retain full card data when payment is processed by an external payment provider.

Availability & Security

LEGATHERIST may modify, suspend or interrupt all or part of the Site for maintenance, security, updates or operational reasons. It does not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete absence of errors or compatibility with all devices.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, LEGATHERIST is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of indicative Site content, temporary unavailability, third-party sites, or inaccurate information provided by a user, owner or partner.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, gross negligence where prohibited by applicable law, attributable bodily injury, or mandatory consumer rights.

Links to third-party sites, maps, social networks, agencies, platforms or providers are supplied for navigational convenience. LEGATHERIST does not control their content, practices or policies. Users should consult their respective terms and privacy policies.

Amendments

LEGATHERIST may amend these terms to reflect changes to the Site, its services or applicable regulations. The update date is shown at the top of the page. A material amendment does not retroactively affect a specific contract already concluded, unless agreed or legally required.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Subject to any mandatory rules that may apply, these terms are governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts or arbitration bodies, as applicable. Users who are consumers located in the European Union retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections provided by the law of their country of residence.
